Not ever being charged with a crime before, I was at a loss on where to turn for help. I decided to contact Kim & LaVoy after finding they handled criminal defense. After my first consultation with Ben Lutgen, I decided to hire him. His first words upon meeting me and my wife were, "how are you doing", already showing his concern for me and my family, Ben emphasized that we all make mistakes, and he was going to do his best representing me. Ben Lutgen is extremely knowledgeable, responsive and caring. With his expertise, he was able to get my charge reduced. I will be forever grateful to Ben and would not hesitate to refer him to anyone in need of an excellent criminal defense attorney.

Benjamin Lutgen is a fabulous lawyer. When I needed a lawyer for an alleged hit and run, he took ample time to explain to me all the ins and outs of what could/would happen, and he did this before I even was decided on hiring him. Once I hired him, he took phone calls and emails promptly, constantly keeping me up to date. He obviously juggles many cases but when you call him all his focus is on you. He never rushes to get you off the phone, he puts your mind at ease and is genuinely invested in your peace of mind as well as securing you the best possible outcome. He is calm, pleasant, reassuring, and very knowledgeable. He puts you and your case first. He got my case, which would have been quite devastating if convicted, to a simple fine.
