About John H Schmidt

The founder of the Law Offices of John Schmidt & Associates PLLC, John has a personal devotion to help struggling families. The happiness and welfare of clients are extremely important to John, which is why he stresses that clients come to healthy solutions in their cases. John grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, and put himself through college and graduate school at the University of Kentucky. Later, he completed the Six Six Sigma Green and Lean programs at Villanova University and worked as a special education teacher, prosecutor, turn-around executive and consultant before going into private practice. He is very active with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and other charities, which have come to influence his view on how he practices law. Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disease that causes mucus to be thicker than normal. The thicker mucus causes issues in the pancreas, lungs and digestive tract. Fabulous man who helped in a time of great emotional stress. He explained the legal process to me, walked me through and provided care at an affordable cost for a single mom working full time while in school. Huge blessing and picked up phone calls, returned panic emails, and worked across state lines to get the job done.
