About John H Schmidt

The founder of the Law Offices of John Schmidt & Associates PLLC, John has a personal devotion to help struggling families. The happiness and welfare of clients are extremely important to John, which is why he stresses that clients come to healthy solutions in their cases. John grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, and put himself through college and graduate school at the University of Kentucky. Later, he completed the Six Six Sigma Green and Lean programs at Villanova University and worked as a special education teacher, prosecutor, turn-around executive and consultant before going into private practice. He is very active with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and other charities, which have come to influence his view on how he practices law. Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disease that causes mucus to be thicker than normal. The thicker mucus causes issues in the pancreas, lungs and digestive tract. Though he was otherwise committed and unable to take my case, John was exceedingly helpful and honest and went so far as to refer me to someone whom he believed could help. He even got back to me, a non-client, on a Saturday, a fact with which I was very impressed.

Mr. Schmidt kept in touch with me on all aspects of my case in several ways, faxes, e-mail & phone calls. I'm very happy with the outcome! He did an exceptional job and the fee I paid was very reasonable for the time that was involved.I would recommend him to anyone who needs a lawyer who will listen and work to bring closer for your case. I feel as if John takes on too many clients and misses details in regard to a case. He is a nice person, but he either needs better personal organization skills or less work.
