I'd worked all my life and was proud that I was independent but when a motorcycle accident devastated me physically and financially I found out what it means to be dependent on others. Golden State helped me to realize that the old stigma associated with filing bankruptcy wasn't the end of the world for me and that I could make a fresh start.
