After graduating law school in 1989, I began my career as a lawyer working for the Social Security Administration in its Office of the General Counsel. I did my job well and learned volumes about the workings of Social Security Administration, however, I went to law school to help people who could not help themselves – the poor, the disadvantaged, those at the end of their rope. I left the Social Security Administration and moved to Iowa, where I have been representing disability claimants since 1996. I was appointed to the Board of Directors of NOSSCR–the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives–from 2010 – present.
Restoring Hope One by One. That is my goal in representing Social Security disability claimants here in Iowa. I pride myself on providing close, personal attention to all my clients at all stages of the administrative process. I take the time necessary to gather all the facts, assemble all the medical records, and carefully analyze your case. I will help you prepare for your hearing so you that can relax and give your best testimony. I won’t give up on your case. If necessary, I will pursue your appeal all the way to federal court.

Mr Tipp and his staff are very confident and professional. This is a very long and stressful process. Be patient. Tripp P.C. thank you for helping me win my case. Sincerely Charles Neel
Very knowledgeable and definitely knows his field very well. Straight forward honest and very helpful, and accommodating.
Worst experience working with this lawyer for over three years of appealing and finally losing in appeals court. For a case that should have won at initial application. Tripp law firm submitted about 5-8 of my records when I requested about 27 or more medical school and incarceration records that were never submitted for the judge to see. Which would have greatly impacted the alj decision. Long long waste of my time. Bringing much financial hardship to my small family. This law firm didn't care I was just a number to them. Not thorough at all. Do not hire them I do not recommend at all.
Was only contacted by him once during a 3 1/2 wait to see the alj. I tried to provide various records to support my case and was blown off by his secretary. He failed to collect many important records and I lost my case. When I lost I received a phone call from him and that's it. A month after I lost my case I was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I have to start all over again and re-file for my benefits with a different lawyer now knowing that I might be dead before I receive my benefits.
