Did you file a police report? We’re you physically assaulted during the robbery? Are you lending assistance to the police to apprehend the attackers? Discuss these and other questions with counsel anywhere in the USA. Sorry you had to go through this. Counsel anywhere in the USA can represent you.

Can a 17 and 3 month year old lady, legally married and a permanent resident with green card, having a 2 month old citizen child sponsor her spouse?

Immigration lawyer at Sharon L. Preston, P.C.
She can file the petition for her spouse. However, if and when the spouse files an application for Adjustment of Status in the U.S. or goes through Consular Processing for an immigrant visa abroad, he would have to submit an Affidavit of Support from her. To file the Affidavit of Support, she must be at least 18 years old. So even though she can file the petition now, she would have to wait until she is 18 to file the Affidavit of Support (which should be fine, since the Petition would take about that long to be approved).

How long will it take for a green card holder to bring his wife to USA?

Answered by attorney Harun Kazmi
Immigration lawyer at Kazmi & Sakata
This will depend on their nationality and Embassy for processing. But, typically, it will take about 6 months to process in the US and maybe another 3 or 4 for the immigrant processing interview at the Embassy.
