How much longer it will take before my sister gets her visa?

Answered by attorney Jennifer Maude Oltarsh
Immigration lawyer at Oltarsh & Associates, P.C.
Generally a sibling petition goes on a wait list of about ten years. When you sister becomes current she and her immediate family can emigrate. This includes a spouse and children under 21. If there are children over twenty one, then perhaps the CSPA can help.

Immigration lawyer at Havens Lichtenberg PLLC
If your wife has a *certified* copy of her birth certificate, it should be ok. Just make certain that she has her original Certificate of Naturalization (or her original U.S. passport, or both).

Am I eligible to file my naturalisation under the 3 years of marriage?

Answered by attorney Francis John Cowhig (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Francis John Cowhig
You can file for naturalization after you have had your green card for three years as long as you are still married to your petitioning spouse. It is 3 years from the approval and issuance of your green card, not the date of your marriage.
