Do I have to pay a judgment against me if I had a limit on my card?

The debt merges into the judgment so the short answer is yes. You should vacate the judgment and then deal with it.

Is it possible to file bankruptcy with SSI?

Richard B. Jacobson
Answered by attorney Richard B. Jacobson (Unclaimed Profile)
Bankruptcy lawyer at Richard B. Jacobson Associates, LLC
Might. You have a child. Do not consider suicide. If it is still on your mind call a suicide hotline in your community. Failing that, call your doctor or 911. SSI does not stand in the way of your filing a bankruptcy. Your situation might, all in all, justify a discharge of the student loans on the basis of 'undue hardship.' You would do well to consult an experienced bankruptcy lawyer. It might help your situation immensely. Good Luck.

Should I improve my chapter 7 property that hasn't been reaffirmed?

Answered by attorney Rex K. Daines
Bankruptcy lawyer at OlsenDaines
Why do you think the bank will take the property? If you are current on the payments and taxes and have the home insured, the bank can not take it.
