While reading the reviews, I was very surprised. Byron is very knowledgeable about what he does and very responsive. He answered all of my questions that I had. He is great at explaining things that I would not have otherwise understood.

Byron was amazing! The best family law firm in Long Island . They were so accommodating and took the time to explain everything over the phone. They were always available to answer any questions that I had throughout my custody case. They were very patient with me throughout the entire process of my case. Byrand his team were extremely honest and upfront with me the whole time. They are very professional, and I definitely would recommend land legal group to anyone for any family law matters. Byron was an adversary on a case years ago. He comes to the courtroom with command of the facts and the law. His approach in our case was firm, but reasonable and we were able to resolve the matter without the expense of trial. He subsequently litigated against another colleague who had a similarly positive assessment. I refer all of my Long Island cases to Byron.

Byron Divins is good at getting you to believe he knows all of the judges and is going to help you. I had very limited resources and trusted Byron. I was dismayed at Byron's lack of competence and his constant excuses and delays. Byron only cared about money, money and more money for himself with zero results to show for it. Going with Byron Divins was the worst mistake I have ever made. The only thing he was good at was inflating his legal fees. He was all talk and accomplished nothing but delay my case to no end. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this crook.

As the other reviewers pointed out, this man is dishonest and untrustworthy. He will tell you what you want to hear until the point when it blows up in your face... I wish I never met Mr Divins.

Mr. Divens is an unhappy man that brought his own family problems to work. He has quite a temper and he showed it. He likes to brag about his military background, but neglects to be honest and show kindness to his clients. He’s not the man for this job.

Byron pulled the bait and switch on me. He promised me he knew all of the judges in Queens, New York, Nassau and Suffolk. As it turned out, Byron was known for all of the wrong reasons. He will lie to you and in court without thinking twice. His "legal expertise" is a joke. Very unprofessional. I have never seen such a narcissist who lives in his own world. Byron has zero legal aptitude or emotional intelligence to put the needs of his clients ahead of his own. Run as far and as fast away

I had a legitimate issue that was very serious. Byron Divins took personal jabs and attacked my being "too poor to obviously afford a lawyer". I'm humiliated and beyond disgusted that an attorney would treat me like garbage when he knows nothing about my back story. You are better off using the phone book instead. I could represent myself better. Please beware unless you want to give your money away and get railroaded by a creep. Do not use this attorney.
