Attorney Phil Arnel is the Massachusetts' expert on 209A/258E orders. I retained Phil on a difficult set of domestic violence / harassment allegations requiring an appearance in front of the judge, which resulted in the order not being extended. From the start he took charge of the situation, took the time to listen to the facts, and guided me through the process.The MA laws in this area are very complex, and when you only get one shot at your defense (permanent record) you can't mess around.

Phil was great with my case - he took it last minute, explained everything to me regarding restraining orders and that different rules applied (as evidence, jurisdiction, etc.) and managed to exclude all the plaintiff’s evidence at the hearing. He also had to read a lot of paperwork, since it was a very convoluted case with multiple cases outside of MA. The RO suit was dismissed.

Recently, Phillip Arnel, helped me to resolve a difficult legal issue. Working with him over a period of about 3 months led to a successful conclusion of this problem. During this effort, Phil was very responsive to all communications and clear in what he needed to complete this task. Should a similar issue arise in the future, I would not hesitate to use his legal services again.

Mr. Arnel is an excellent attorney. Mr. Arnel is very knowledgeable about background checks and updating records. Not many attorneys possess the level of expertise in this field that Mr. Arnel has. To my knowledge, there are few attorneys in the country that specialize in updating records. Mr. Arnel is attentive, responsive, and professional. Months after Mr. Arnel completed his work, I realized that the state had made a mistake at the end of the process of updating my record. Had I followed Mr. Arnel's detailed instructions for checking to ensure the process was complete, this would not have happened. Regardless, Mr. Arnel reacted incredibly fast to work with the state agency to rectify the situation. I can't say enough positive things about my experiences with the law office of Philip Arnel.
