Coppola Hockenberg, P.C. is a law firm based in West Des Moines, Iowa, with a wide and varied successful legal practice that has been serving local and national clients for more than four decades.

Community and tradition are important to us. President of the firm, Attorney, Christopher B. Coppola, has followed his father's footsteps, Charles Coppola/. Christopher's son, Anthony Coppola, is now a law student at Drake University, following in the footsteps of his grandfather Charles and his father Christopher. His plan is to practice law when he completes law school.

Attorney Harlan "Bud" Hockenberg, has been practicing law for over 75 years and has a wide array of experience in most things law. He is well respected in the legal and political community.

I hired Chris to help with my custody case. Chris was very professional from day 1, and was determined to help me in every which way possible. Chris came in ready to go to bat for me. Chris kept good communication with what was going on in my case, what I needed to do, and how to handle certain situations. He is very knowledgeable with the laws, knows what you will be going after, and does not stop until you win or until you say so. If you want an attorney that is driven to win, and win with ease - this is the attorney for you.

Chris has been a Godsend, literally. When I hired him, I was beginning to lose hope that I’d find an attorney that I’d feel confident in that they’d help in my ‘difficult’ custody case. Chris, without hesitation, took over my case, while we were half way into it. My previous representation from another well known law firm in the area robbed me of thousands of dollars and got nothing done for me. Chris asked for a fair and reasonable retainer up front and got the job done and got it done QUICK! I highly recommend Chris Coppola and his awesome assistant, Sarah to anyone seeking legal representation. They have been amazing and I’m so grateful for all they have done for me and my children!

I’ve been going through a lengthy and messy custody battle and had recently fired my previous attorney. I interviewed attorneys in the area for about a month until I found Chris. When speaking with him, he was blunt and direct about what to expect and what he believed he could do for my case. He is prompt in keeping in touch and keeping me posted on all happenings within the case, thus far. I finally feel confident in the representation I have. I feel that Chris is a trustworthy individual, which is rare these days. I’d highly recommend any and everyone in search of an attorney to call Chris!
