Mr. McGill is a very attentive and knowledgeable attorney and provided me with excellent guidance and most incredibly returned my calls the same day sometimes within an hour. I am a very demanding person and had many questions. He always answered directly and put me at ease.
There isn’t a licensed attorney with more FERS disability claims experience than Robert McGill. He’s “the guy”. I’m no an easy client, either: My war issues make me downright ornery. Robert handled my captiousness with aplomb. More importantly, he quickly and competently got me a win. The legal profession is fraught with attorneys who firewall themselves off from their clients. They are hard to reach, and they communicate poorly, and then clients have to contact the state bar. Not so with Robert McGill. He has no gatekeeper receptionists or unknowing answering services. He is very responsive, easy to reach. You will speak with him, not some admin or paralegal or receptionist. He does what he says -- on time. His fee is upfront and very fair. In short, Robert's diligent work promptly won for my family the security we earned and need.
My husband's disability was a shock and we needed an attorney quickly. Mr McGill was a great fit for us. He knew his business and got right to the point all the time and quickly. He managed our expectations about the process but luckily we won our case in a short period of time due to having everything done the right way first. We called some of his references before hiring and all the rave reviews were true to our experience working with Mr McGill! Would hire him again for sure.
Mr. McGill specializes in Federal Disability Retirement. When my health condition deteriorated to the point I could no longer effectively do my job, I sought his assistance in applying for disability retirement with OPM. After a brief phone consultation, it was obvious Mr. McGill was the right man for the job! He send me a questionnaire which greatly simplified the government application form, he contacted my physicians to obtain the necessary medical evidence and then compiled the information, completed the required forms and submitted everything through my former agency to OPM. OPM sent me a letter on Feb 5th stating they had received the application. On March 1st, I received my approval letter! This is basically unheard of for a regular retirement application little less a disability retirement. Mr. McGill knew exactly what was needed for OPM to make their determination - which they did in my favor without having to submit a single additional document. 5 STARS!
Without Mr. McGill's expert, professional and caring assistance my very complicated application for an early retirement would not only probably still be pending, but might possibly have been disapproved. He was also prompt and complete in his replies to my questions and concerns regardless of the significance of the issue. I would recommend him unconditionally.
Mr. McGill was very pleasant to work with. He’s very responsive, thorough, and knows what he’s doing. 5 stars to him.
Mr. Robert McGill represented me on a medical retirement and with his experience and expertise we accomplished our needs. First and foremost he has a great disposition and patience in addressing our concerns. I highly recommend him for legal services Beth
I hired Mr. McGill to handle my disability retirement. I initially called him for a consult about a year before I actually moved ahead. He was very patient with me and answered all of my questions. I followed his advice and with his help, navigated the through the process with ease (relative term). I couldn't be happier with the way things worked out. The fee was very reasonable and he responded immediately to all correspondence throughout the process. Mr. McGill is awesome, I highly recommend him to anyone.
Hiring Mr. McGill was the best thing I did. He always responded to my emails and calls. He was very knowledgeable of the entire process. Simply put, I would have not won my case without him. I would not recommend anyone to try to this by themselves without the professional help Robert provides as this process can become very difficult for some.
I hired Mr. McGill to represent my deaf brother. We did not use Mr. Mcgill for the initial filing and I wish we had! My brother was initially disapproved for FERS disability. After researching and phone interviews with four law firms, I chose Mr. McGill for two reasons. The reviews and the cost of his services. Mr. McGill appealed his case, it was denied. He took it a step further and filed a Merit Systems Protection Board appeal. He provided all the necessary documentation, worked diligently during the appeal and his case was approved before going to the formal appeal. I firmly believe had it not been for Mr. McGill acting as his agent, he would have been disapproved at the MSPB level. Hire Mr. McGill, he knows the laws and the wording OPM requires for approval. Mr. McGill is not like most lawyers, once they have your money, communication comes to a standstill. Mr. McGill responded to every phone call or email I sent on the same day, great customer service!
