John "Jack" Gately is an AV-rated former judge advocate who concentrates his practice in the area of disability law, military law and veterans’ rights, Social Security disability law, international humanitarian law, and the law of armed conflict. He is a member of the ABA, the Judge Advocate Association, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives, and the bars of the Commonwealths of Virginia and Massachusetts as well as the District of Columbia.
