Working with Mr. Gately to get the most out of my 16years of service to MEB was well worth the investment. And knowledge and experience he possesses on MEB process was just incredible especially if you are going through the CG MEB process. Prior to going through the process I highly doubted that I would get even close to 20% for my conditions and prior history of similar case results. Jack got involved late in my MEB case, but was able to quickly determine the steps that we needed to take and we put together all of the paperwork necessary to submit before the deadline. He represented me again when the VA fought to reduce my disability a couple years after my medical retirement. I have referred Jack to several friends as they worked their way through the MEB/PEB process. Having someone who is truly *YOUR* advocate and can advise you on your best interests is invaluable. The only negative that I experienced was that communication seemed slower or less-responsive than I expected and on a couple of occasions, I had to send multiple messages to receive a response. Jack is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to how the PEB system works. I came to him in January after finding out my IPEB results, which were unfavorable. I explained my situation to him and he deliberated on it for a few weeks, then explained his thoughts on the case and where we stood. I provided him evidence that was not available for the IPEB, he contacted my treating physician, and together we came up with a plan of attack on how we were going to win the PEB. Jack took his time and made sure everything was laid out properly for the FPEB, which ultimately led to an on the record decision of fit for full duty. Without his expertise and help I would not be able to continue my naval career. The PEB process is something that I not recommend going at alone nor without the professional help of an experienced PEB attorney such as Jack. His fee covers the whole PEB process (MEB, IPEB, FPEB, etc) so do not wait to contact him like I did.

My experience with john is that He will be good for straight forward cases only. He took my money and filed a motion. However, after the response from BCNR, he ignored my calls, emails and after hiring other lawyer, i found out that he just want easy money. In other words, he is not good for litigation. He is good only for simple cases and just submitting a motion and pay him. I paid $7500. He was not answering my calls. I was keep calling him then he was saying “oh i will consult with my friend”. Don’t waste your money. I was fooled by the reviews.
