A bit pricey.
The worst decision of my life was to hire Alan B Plevy. If you value time, money and life then, stay away. He turned a simple divorce case into a nightmare. He used privilege information to see how much he can get out of the situation. He bill excessively, redundantly, and kept billing after I told him to stop working. He gave me an estimate of 40k and end up billing close to 200k. When I questioned him on charges he withdrew from the case and still kept charging me. It’s not like I got anything out of hiring him, as a matter of fact, he mislead me during custody. I got less time with my kids. He simply said he is sorry he made a mistake and my ex never agreed to what he told me. He didn’t offer a settlement for the house when I asked. He pushed the case to the court. He didn’t present evidence in the court, and as a result, I lost money, my house and personal property. I got less than 100k from divorce which cost 200k. He put a lien on my house. Bar complain.
