Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.I am very grateful to Alan for representing me in my divorce and custody battle for the past year and a half. Alan was extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about my case. He is a skillful communicator and negotiator, always very prepared and highly organized. He masterfully presented my case in front of the judges in multiple court appearances. He educated me about the entire process and was there for me and my children every step of the way. I received an outcome I was hoping for, and it is all due to Alan’s experience, expertise, professionalism, and true care for his clients. I will recommend his services in a heartbeat.
I've worked with Alan on multiple occasions over a period of 15 years. In all occasions Alan has firmly and skillfully protected my interests. I respect his candor and straight talk when explaining the potential risks and costs associated with different legal strategies. I admire his character in that he seeks an acceptable and reasonable resolution when possible. Above all, I rely on his counsel because he is recognized as a skilled attorney, so we are negotiating for that fair and just resolution from a position of strength.
Alan Plevy's law firm helped me to avoid financial disaster. The team of professionals he surrounds himself, allowed me to sleep at night. I always felt that I mattered. Their firm has the ability to keep the facts straight and always be on point over a three year period. This speaks volumes. It should be noted this was during Covid 19. The team seemed to function, opposing council was hindered. Thank you Joshua Isaacs and Alan Plevy
Alan handled my case with great care and I felt las if I was always his number one priority. He was incredibly responsive and explained every detail to me, every step of the way. He was thorough, detailed and incredibly organized. I also took great comfort in his years of experience - and with the team he has in place supporting his practice.
Alan, Josh, and Meghan were kind and patient. In the time of COVID, they saw fit to help me find a way to afford the cost of my legal action while I have been ill and unable to work. They were understanding of my particular needs and worked with my situation. If I ever again have need of their services, or give referral, Alan and his team will be first on my mind.
Alan has supported me in my divorce case relentlessly since April 2017. I am grateful I was introduced to the competency of Alan and Josh. Combination of their utmost professionalism, understanding the law, effective communication, and ability to act as a trusted adviser, resulted in conclusions that were exceptional. Thank you for making my long uphill battle your battle and being on my side every step of the way.
Our case was the adoption by two adults of another adult. There are different criteria for this process than for the adoption of a child. Alan guided us through the process with dispatch despite the fact the officials were totally unfamiliar with the adult adoption process. He knew the law, answered our emails promptly, and made the whole process relatively painless. We were very pleased with his professionalism and handling of the entire matter.
Alan handled my difficult case with a combination of integrity, professionalism, vigor and knowledge. His experience and honesty guided me through the process, always keeping the best interests of my family in mind.
Excellent attorney who could look at the big picture and think long term vs short term in regards to what was best for myself and the children. A true champion of the family!
The worst decision of my life was to hire Alan B Plevy. Value your time, money and life then, stay away. He turned a simple divorce case into a nightmare. He used privilege information to see how much he can get out of the situation. He bill excessively, redundantly, and kept billing after I told him to stop working. He gave me an estimate of 40k and end up billing close to 200k. When I questioned him on charges he withdrew from the case and still kept charging me. It’s not like I got anything out of hiring him, as a matter of fact, he mislead me during custody. I got less time with my kids. He simply said he is sorry he made a mistake and my ex never agreed to what he told me. He didn’t offer a settlement for the house when I asked. He pushed the case to the court. He didn’t present evidence in the court, and as a result, I lost money, my house and personal property. I got less than 100k from divorce which cost 200k. Two years of suffering. Now he put a lien on my house. Bar complain.
