Hired Law Firm

Highly professional and well-educated/maintains expertise in field. Extremely responsive in any emergencies - urgent matters are also highly prioritized. Overall, although expensive, my divorce was handled successfully. Only negative, and it is minor: Can be difficult to reach for routine issues.

Hired Attorney Stephen Carton

Atty Carton represented my wife in our divorce until she had him removed from the case. He ran up excessive fees that she had to pay, and tried to run up more with irrelevant activities. When challenged, he vanished like a coward in the night. His firm subsequently provided an attorney with true integrity.

Referred to by Nolo. Initially screened by receptionist. explained whole story and basis for a case. After a time, she said she would place me on hold while she determines who to refer me to. After a time, she did return with the name of a paralegal and the attorney she worked for. She said she was now transferring me to the paralegal. I was sent straight to voice mail. I left a detailed message. Two days later, the call has still not been returned. Not a good look when a potential client may be stressing. Based on this experience, I would pass and look for another firm who shows a bit more courtesy. Bottom line: Not recommended.

Hired Attorney Bettina Munson

Hired Tina Munson to represent me in my divorce 15 years ago and I’m still paying for it literally! Awful PSA 10 lawyers have read my PSA since and can’t believe she advised me to agree to what I did. She passed me off to a lower level associate and that’s who I met for the first time at my divorce hearing. My life would have been completely different if I would have hired an attorney who actually cared about their clients.

Tina is overpriced and does not take responsibility to finish the job. As soon as she received enough money she was rude and combative. She even sent mail to my old address
