Bonnie Lynn Amendola

My experience with Bonnie Amandola could not have been better. When I contacted her in child custody case, I was nervous and felt I had little chance of winning. She made all the difference, putting me at ease from day one. She left no stone unturned and her persistence, knowledge, and ability won the case. I recommend her without reservation and am eternally grateful that I found her to represent me.

Attorney Bonnie Amendola (Not Elaine, she doesn't practice anymore) is a terrible family lawyer. In my case, she was the GAL. She was sitting on hearings which were nothing to do with my children to bill me. She was totally biased and didn't do her work as a guardian to protect children and let the court know what is the best for children. I filed a couple of complaints to the the Grievance Committee in CT. I want to expose her. Please be very careful if she is recommended to be a GAL.

I will never recommend Attorney Amendola to anyone I know. She was the GAL on my post-judgement case. She didn't do any work and ignored my children's input in order to favor her lawyer friend. She doesn't have any integrity and honesty. I had a friend who also was screwed by her and her children had to suffer from a tore family because Amendola's dishonesty and corruption.

Bonnie might be capable, but her case management style is horrible. can't get anything done on time..... Also, she doesn't care about her client. She just wants to bill clients more hours.....

She was appointed as our GAL by the court. However, she doesn't do anything. She doesn't reply emails and calls. She is never available to attend a hearing. We have to move hearings because of her. It is so hard to schedule on due to the backlog caused by the Covid 19.

Terrible and disgraceful human. She's juiced in with judges and courts. She lies. Before you go and think I'm just another angry litigant, note she gave me MORE time with my kid. A whole day. Still don't have anything close to 50/50 custody. She is a dangerous person who will cause more chaos with her lies, unresponsiveness, and lack of any professionalism. She gets lied to constantly by my ex-wife and she doesn't even realize... She should be removed from the CT GAL list immediately.

Bonnie Amendola is a first class extortionist! Do some research before hiring her as she swings any way the wind blows. She's inept at providing any protection for children and is easily duped by lying parents. You would think she would be able to see through these people given how long she's been at this. It's not about doing what's right for Bonnie, it's racking up fees to extort parents with. Bonnie couldn't be worse at her job and certainly shouldn't be deciding anything relating to custody disputes. Just ask around, most will give you the real story, those who don't are on the take... Or maybe she just doesn't like men. Buyer beware.

This woman is your worst nightmare (when you’re already in one). We learned she would make snide remarks in response to my emails and send them to my ex-wife in writing!?!?!?! Worst, she never returns emails. This woman cannot be trusted when dealing with children. I’m filing a complaint. She is not competent. I did a consultation with her. She is very rude and not patient. She only focused on how much money I am willing to pay for my legal fees on my divorce. She even thinks I need a custody case which I never asked for. I don't think she is a nice person. The only thing she wants is to suck you dry. stay away
