Mr. William Joseph Turner

This man is the worst lawyer I have ever encountered! He took $5000 and now won't return our calls or even communicate with us!!! What kind of lawyer does that! This man needs to be disbarred! He has no business practicing law and if these reviews don't tell you something then I don't know what else will! Please people do not waste your money find someone else if you want to get your case resolved!!!

paid for his services November 25, 2020 and yet to receive the documents I paid for. I asked for my refund a week ago, even being fair and accepting half of my payment back. At this point I will be taking the appropriate course of action in regards to his practice. I would highly recommend against retaining Joey Turners service.

My horror story sounds a lot like the rest of these reviews. Hired him January 2020 and fired him March 2021. In that time the only thing he did for my case was send one email. He will take your money. He will miss your court dates. He will lie about the work he is doing on your case. He will ignore your calls and miss appointments. Then, when you fire him, he will promise you a refund you will never get, block your calls, and hold your court file hostage so it makes it harder for you to move on. I paid him $4000 and got nothing out of deal! I see a lot of you mentioned the GA bar...that was my first route, but the supreme court decided not to would reprimand him for his behavior. They said I did not have enough proof. But they did say their decision does not stop any legal actions I choose to bring against Joey. My suggestion would be for you all to PLEASE PLEASE still file a grievance with the GA state bar. The more they hear his name, the more they will become aware of his behavior

I wish I would have read through all these reviews before I hired Joey to handle a simple case for my wife. He talks a good game about what all he can do, but as soon as he has your money he changes on you. Joey picks and chooses what cases he wants to work hard for...I guess he felt our case wasn't important enough! He lied through the whole process! The part that makes him the biggest snake of them all is he didn't do his job but still believes he is entitled to keep all of over money! Don't be fooled by some of these reviews because I wish I would have paid attention them. Don't find yourself asking him this same question.....Where is our refund Joey!!??

Save your money. Will not return calls or keep you updated. Will let your loved one rot in jail without even informing you on the next court date. Multiple calls and emails proved to be a waste of time.

They tell you that this is a great lawyer but he is not. He told me could help, took my $500 and did nothing. I had to continuously call him. Every time his assistant would call and say he is not in. She takes a message and he never calls back. It’s like they are screening your phone calls. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a lawyer. I wouldn’t hire him to defend my dog. All the good reviews are lies. I repeat this is not a good lawyer! He will take your money. I hired him to get a bond hearing for my boyfriend and he couldn’t even do that. I hired him in May and here it is August and still nothing. He robbed him.

I paid Joey 3yrs ago to handle my case I drove from TN 6 different times to attend court in GA then after 2yrs I get convicted. Mr. Turner did nothing to help me in the court room he showed up late each time and never responded to any of my calls or messages he was very unprofessional and seemed to just take my money and run PLEASE do not make the same mistake I did he's not the attorney you want fighting your case. You would be better off defending yourself I promise you that

Do not hire this guy. Constantly lies about paperwork he has not filed for months and months and months. Just text your money that’s it. Will not return your call for anything. When you do talk to you much later he says just call me tomorrow at a certain time and then he’s never available. Would never recommend this to my worst enemy. Horrible attorney, do not waste your time or money on him.

Paid Joey Turner in full on our first visit. Emailed him my records before the first visit. Hr only replied to me when I sent emails to him. Never once could I ever reach him at his office. This was two years ago. He hasn't responded to any of my calls or emails in a year now. Every time you call his office he is never available. You leave messages for him to call you back and he never responds. Remember I hired him two years ago and haven't talked to him in a year. Her refuses giving any updates or returns any of your calls or emails. Would have given him no stars but had no choice but to select one.

William Joseph Turner is a con artist. I paid him in December of 2018 to represent me for a ticket and he missed all the court dates. When I finally got a hold of him after weeks and weeks and even having to fake being a new client, he gave me excuses upon excuses, claiming he would go to court to handle it but never did. I specifically told him in September 2019 I needed the ticket resolved and he said he would take care of it. He missed the court date on October 25th and the court date on December 27th. As of January 10, 2020, my case is still unresolved, my license is suspended, I have no job (cant get hired due to failed background check) and the bench warrant for my arrest is still active. Do not do business with this man. STAY AWAY!
