We first found Mr. Turner a year ago in a moment of legal desperation, when previous council, proved uninterested, after payment was rendered, and ineffective. Mr. Turner's calming nature offered a refuge in what has been confusing and frustrating moments of an on going legal battle. His behind closed doors kind demeanor with clients, should not be mistaken for weakness in a court room. I was in need of an attorney and had visited several by the time I met Joey. Everyone else wanted a lump payment for their work; for the possibility of a high profile felony case. Joey, however, was willing to work with me and split up payments based on my pay schedule. Once he began representing me, he got right to work defending me and was very aggressive about it. Even though I couldn't reach him right away all of the time, I never worried about being out of the loop or him not doing his job

He is the worst lawyer. DO NOT HIRE HIM. He will take your money and dodge you. No communication. I hired him for a case in Long County, and then also hired him for a ticket in Liberty County. This man will have you miss work for a court date he rescheduled with no communication. He charged me 5,000 for the case and 1,000 for the ticket. I paid a total of 5,100. My case in Long County was dismissed before the count date due to law enforcement. He agreed to refund me and then has ghosted me. After weeks of delay and broken promises. The excuse he used was he needed to load his cash app for weeks. He has went has far has blocking my number. HE IS A CRIMINAL. Don't hire him. I didnt think a 2,000 refund would take this long. He really owes me more than that. I have been waiting since March 12, 2026 for my refund.

Long story short I got charged with a DUI years ago and Joey Turner did nothing to help besides take my money! I was from out of state and he had me drive to savannah GA several times for my case just to have me sign a piece of paper telling me to come back again. He was a waste of time and money chargers were not dropped or reduced. He did nothing to help my case beware and don't waste your money better off representing yourself!

Joey is brutal, he's a conman and a grifter, lied to me the entire time, fleeced me for $4,000, and never batted an eye. He assured me the entire time everything was going to be okay, called me the day before even, and day-of, nothing went in my favor, and he basically just milked me for my money, and lied, and got away with it. He acted more criminally than what I had to go there for. It's as much comical as it is tragic. Do not hire Joey, he is not your advocate, I promise you. He's a two-faced lying POS hypocrite, who should be selling used cars somewhere.

Don't even bother contacting this poor excuse of an attorney, you'll sit for 3 years waiting for anything to be done with your case and never be able to contact him, never be able to see anything from your case, and never even have him show up to a court date. I went in to my last court date after waiting 3 years of nothing happening by myself without joey and got my case handled with out him as well. We wrapped it up that day so honestly you're better off going in by yourself than hiring this person and thinking they will help your case at all. And when he says there's nothing that can be done believe me it's only because he hasn't and won't do anything for you at all.

This is the worst lawyer I ever came across, you call him he don't answer, he's always in court. He lies to you saying he's going to show up in court for you in he don't. I been trying to talk with turner for months you can never reach him, I would never recommend this lawyer to anyone he is not reliable and does not communicate at all. You will be wasting time and money dealing with this unprofessionable person. He is very disappointing he gets your hopes up and then let's you down.
