Mr Turner doesn’t respond to text messages voicemails or messages left with the office. I have even went as far as emailing him and still no response. He is paid in full and will not return my calls regarding a refund since the case was dismissed before a court date.

Long story short I got charged with a DUI years ago and Joey Turner did nothing to help besides take my money! I was from out of state and he had me drive to savannah GA several times for my case just to have me sign a piece of paper telling me to come back again. He was a waste of time and money chargers were not dropped or reduced. He did nothing to help my case beware and don't waste your money better off representing yourself!

Joey is brutal, he's a conman and a grifter, lied to me the entire time, fleeced me for $4,000, and never batted an eye. He assured me the entire time everything was going to be okay, called me the day before even, and day-of, nothing went in my favor, and he basically just milked me for my money, and lied, and got away with it. He acted more criminally than what I had to go there for. It's as much comical as it is tragic. Do not hire Joey, he is not your advocate, I promise you. He's a two-faced lying POS hypocrite, who should be selling used cars somewhere.

Reposting the review left by my wife, and Joey Turner's response. HE said he did favorable by us (me) yet he still refuses to return the remainder of the retainer we paid him over a year ago. Will not return phone calls, text messages, or emails. So our review is still negative, and we still cant get our money back over 6 months later. He agreed in February 28th, 2023 to return money to us as as of September 22, 2023 has still not done so. Would leave a negative rating if possible. He was rude and unethical and agreed that he didn’t do any work be it wasn’t anything for him to do. We hired him to get a bond and paid $3500 he is refusing to return the money after not getting a bond on a first offense arrest.

Don't even bother contacting this poor excuse of an attorney, you'll sit for 3 years waiting for anything to be done with your case and never be able to contact him, never be able to see anything from your case, and never even have him show up to a court date. I went in to my last court date after waiting 3 years of nothing happening by myself without joey and got my case handled with out him as well. We wrapped it up that day so honestly you're better off going in by yourself than hiring this person and thinking they will help your case at all. And when he says there's nothing that can be done believe me it's only because he hasn't and won't do anything for you at all.

This is the worst lawyer I ever came across, you call him he don't answer, he's always in court. He lies to you saying he's going to show up in court for you in he don't. I been trying to talk with turner for months you can never reach him, I would never recommend this lawyer to anyone he is not reliable and does not communicate at all. You will be wasting time and money dealing with this unprofessionable person. He is very disappointing he gets your hopes up and then let's you down.

This man is the worst lawyer I have ever encountered! He took $5000 and now won't return our calls or even communicate with us!!! What kind of lawyer does that! This man needs to be disbarred! He has no business practicing law and if these reviews don't tell you something then I don't know what else will! Please people do not waste your money find someone else if you want to get your case resolved!!!

paid for his services November 25, 2020 and yet to receive the documents I paid for. I asked for my refund a week ago, even being fair and accepting half of my payment back. At this point I will be taking the appropriate course of action in regards to his practice. I would highly recommend against retaining Joey Turners service.

My horror story sounds a lot like the rest of these reviews. Hired him January 2020 and fired him March 2021. In that time the only thing he did for my case was send one email. He will take your money. He will miss your court dates. He will lie about the work he is doing on your case. He will ignore your calls and miss appointments. Then, when you fire him, he will promise you a refund you will never get, block your calls, and hold your court file hostage so it makes it harder for you to move on. I paid him $4000 and got nothing out of deal! I see a lot of you mentioned the GA bar...that was my first route, but the supreme court decided not to would reprimand him for his behavior. They said I did not have enough proof. But they did say their decision does not stop any legal actions I choose to bring against Joey. My suggestion would be for you all to PLEASE PLEASE still file a grievance with the GA state bar. The more they hear his name, the more they will become aware of his behavior
