Our practice focuses upon representation in the following areas: Social Security Disability, VA Disability Benefits, Estate Planning, Inheritance, Probate, Guardianship and Supplemental Security Income law. The firm handles litigation in these areas in the state and federal court systems.

My representation was changed twice and they filed without submitting my medical records. On my final appeal the lawyer I had was very casual and sounded as if he was just tuning me out. I had a surgeon almost kill me on an operating table after messing up an easy cholecystectomy. Use someone else like I said they never let us know they didn't have documentation until last minute. In your case details matter and they dropped the ball BIG TIME.

If I had the option of 0 stars, I would opt for that! Very sad to see that this law firm "specializes in elderly and disability" cases. Why don't they just state the obvious? That they steal money from the elderly and disabled! I hired this firm from Phoenix, Az with the understanding that they had my best interests at heart. After being lied to for about 6 months by their "interns" as to sending the proper paperwork where it needed to be sent to, and finding out that NOTHING had been sent in on my behalf for my disability claim, I ended up firing them. I received a letter back from them stating I owed them nothing, BUT when Social Security mistakingly sent them nearly $4000, they kept MY money!! There was nothing in my agreement or contract stating that they were entitled to that money! That's professional malpractice and this case is not over! I will follow up when it is.

THEY ARE LIARS AND WORK BEHIND THE SCENES TO SABOTAGE YOU AND YOUR CASE. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM... Reading other reviews I noticed I'm not the only one that was screwed over by them. THEY DO NOT FIGHT FOR YOU. They expect an easy paycheck and when that doesn't happen they drop you BUT they say YOU made the request lol. LIARS!!!

WARNING: The law firm lost my case and then dropped me as a client. Despite hiring them to represent me, they failed to win my case and ultimately decided to end their services. As a result, I was left without proper legal representation and had to seek help elsewhere. I do not recommend this law firm for anyone in need of reliable and effective legal assistance. RUN AWAY FROM THIS LAW FIRM.

I am not satisfied at all. I have been a client since 2018 and I never spoke with an attorney until about a week before my hearing. He did not have my relative medical information and all the dates he did have were wrong. I communicated with office people or a call service. I did win but apparently social security is taking back what little backpay I did get. I paid 500.00 out of my SSI case and and after loosing Ssd benefits which I don’t understand how. I only gained 175.00 toward my backpay ! I do not recommend. I am extremely upset. I wish I had my attorney fees back! I’ll have to file an appeal now myeself!

This review is not typical for a client my firm represents. Most clients who win their benefits appreciate our help. The amount of benefits someone receives is based on years worked and amount earned.

Use any attorney other than heard and smith. The worst attitude and willing ness to do their job ! At the end of my case the money was wrong and h&s said well go fix it ... did nothing but say “ dont care were gonna get paid either way “ This firm should not be allowed to practice law

Horrible service, they take you as a client and make you sign a contract then drop you before your court date , then if you post a review about there service they get arrogant and say your not worthy of there services , don't use them they only want easy cases and don't want to actually work for there money and will leave you high and dry before your court date, best part is you won't know they dropped you until you recieve a notice from social security saying that they dropped you.

Poor communication, waited till the last minute on everything, would not respond to complaints/questions. As the client, patient I felt completely in the dark. Did not have complete files at court, costing me in more ways than one. Waited till after due dates (appeal date) to get my paperwork. Took 9 months after the court date to get my settlement and papers.I as a patient, client was repeatedly put out to get my own files and to them. To say they are a poor company is a grievous understatement

This Firm is here solely for the money. What a let down! I was approved only due to me calling SSA and working with them. Its like I am dealing with a bunch of interns who don't know or care about anything expect Friday & Paydays!!! All this firm did was file this case and couldn't even do that right, for some reason whom ever did the filing checked something wrong my First Disability had been reduced by more than half as SSA thinks I am getting workers compensation. Stay away from this MILL$$

These guys sucked. They couldn't even get the medical records to the hearing on time. The judge was kind enough to hear the case again 8 months later. I guess this is heard and smiths answer to a dire needs letter.again these guys sucked if you choose them well I guess good luck. They really suck
