Joe Winn represented me in a contentious dissolution after a long term marriage. He did an excellent job dealing with my uncooperative ex-wife and with her attorney who was aggressively representing her. With his assistance I received all that I was (is) entitled to. He was very accessible and explained both community property and support concepts to me in an easy and understandable manner. I would not hesitate to recommend his services to all who are in need of a knowledgeable, effective attorney.

Joe did a good job for me after a long marriage to a successful man. I had been a stay at home mom for our entire marriage. Other than knowing that we had a large estate, I was in the dark. I was referred to Joe and he walked me through the process of dividing our assets and getting a large retirement fund for me. I also am receiving spousal and child support that will allow us to have the same lifestyle (that’s what the attorneys call it), and all of my fees were paid by my ex.

Joe represented me in a difficult case. My ex-wife claimed I owed her hundreds of thousands of dollars in back support. With Joe’s help and guidance, we settled for much less than she wanted. We offered to settle to no avail. The other side refused to talk. We went to trial. After an excellent presentation by Joe on the first day of trial, my ex approached me with the general settlement offer. I was impressed with Joe’s preparation and performance in court. Highly recommended.

Joe made decisions without asking me what I wanted, and then told me I had no choices. It was very expensive and humiliating. He laughed at me when I asked him for what I'd like to have happen.

Mr. Winn was hired as a mediator in my lengthy divorce case. At first he seemed alright and willing to negotiate unbiased. This turned south as we approached the end and he became very perturbed and biased against my attorney and mine proposal to the other party. He was rushing us, and became aggressive which completely ruined our momentum and motivation for our proposal. Knowledgeable but overly biased on how he feels a court would rule and over imposes his opinions on the issues at hand.

Mr. Winn seemed like a pretty good attorney at first, but prove to be difficult to work with and not helpful in my divorce. After he made several errors and became very defensive and combative when I questioned him, I ended up dropping him and going with a different attorney. I would not recommend him to anyone needing help in a divorce case.

I retained Joe Winn to represent me in my divorce. I would not recommend him to other clients. Numerous errors were made in my case, his advice was questionable and delivered in a demeaning fashion, and his bills were inflated. I ended up retaining another attorney who proved to be much better, and settled my case to my satisfaction.

Mr. Winn's representation of me in a family law matter was terrible. He admittedly signed the final divorce decree without providing me an opportunity to review it. Moreover, I revoked his power of attorney to sign for me, in writing, several weeks before the hearing. The decree he signed for me contained several errors which required additional hearings. He overbilled me for several items; he's the type of lawyer who would like to bill clients for 25 hours a day.

Joseph Winn, ATTORNEY AT FLAW? Don’t trust him, he’ll turn on you unlike any wolf you’ve ever seen. At least a wolf bares its teeth before it attacks its prey. Basically the wolf in the gingerbread man story. Enough said.

The decree he unlawfully signed for me contained several errors and he wanted to bill me for his time to correct errors he admittedly made; I refused to pay him. His refused to inform me what his hourly bills were for.
