Attorney Barbara Weiss provided clear legal counsel with my best interests in mind. She was thorough, patient with my questions, and provided sound rationale for recommendations. She gave me her focused attention, allowed me to feel heard and understood, and demonstrated a thorough understanding and analysis of all related paper documentation.

I worked with Laura Devine. She was fabulous. She was attentive and knowledgeable She returned my call almost immediately. She gave me great advise and was very compassionate. I was having problems with agreement I had with my x-husband and she was very helpful. Very easy to talk to and she was very caring.

I have used the service many times over the past 20 years. They helped obtain a $12,000 plus insurance settlement that the insurance company had originally denied. They helped obtain a refund of $750 from a very large Pittsburgh car dealership that did not fix my car. They helped obtain rebates from 2 very large national retail companies who originally denied my rebates forms. They are always very prompt in returning my calls, friendly, knowledgable, and helpful! Highly recommend!

They do a wonderful job as far as helping me with advice and letter writing services. I have used them for a collection against my ex-wife that keeps following me as well as a time I lent money to a person that didn't pay me back. Both times the desired outcome was achieved.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.

Lawyers who have received peer reviews after 2009 will display more detailed information, including practice areas, summary ratings, detailed numeric ratings and written feedback (if available). Details for individual reviews received before 2009 are not displayed.

Attorneys that receive reviews from their peers, but not a sufficient number to establish a Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating, will have those reviews display on our websites.
