I do not recommend this firm to anybody. They are for the money only, they ripped us off. Never reply on time. And we could never communicate with the lawyers. We lost almost $ 1000 and they did not do anything with the case. Very disappointing.
1st let me say, my opinion of this company based on experience, they are extremely bad, and if you see a review with 5 stars and no description of what kind of case this is, in my opinion its probably a paid troll keeping up the good rate for this pitiful excuse for a law firm. My experience is a divorce case, they give you no communication, and shoddy lazy workmanship would be saying too much about how poorly they work. This should NOT even be a 1 star business, let alone 5, they take your money offering all kinds of promise about representation. It is crap, they don't even offer an itemized billing until you force them to do so, if you paid a retainer then expect it to double by the time they get through dragging their feet to do a poor job (mine is still not complete after 2 months signing the divorce papers waiting for my ex to set the final hearing date, which cannot be accomplished until KEL gets their S--T together). Plus it was the ex's lawyers who filed every paper, motion, writ, wrote every document, and unfortunately kept me informed of all court dates, before KEL even knew what was going on (yeah, I told them of 2 court dates). You cannot complain to the BBB since they long stopped being a member with that organization, but you can file with the Florida bar, which I was forced to do after many emails, phone messages, hearing threats from my ex's attorney, etc. not being addressed by my representatives. DO NOT USE KEL for anything unless you want to lose in court and lose your bank account. In other words, like in my experience, hire them, the ex WILL get their way.
They never helped with confusing paperwork, made fake promises, and caused me to lose my house.
Terrible. Poor service, awful communication, questionable advice.
A law firm only interested in collections from the client, thats all I ever heard from was Kel wanting there next payment, if not for myself asking the day before if I needed to be at a court hearing, they would of missed the appearance, the employee from the billing department incorrectly told me I lost my case, and was gleeful about it, no one gave a crap, no one at kel did any thing, like a three ring circus, with only collections well oiled. Over 2500 for nothing, do not hire this firm...
KEL was totally incompetent and unprofessional. They shuffled my case to so many people, it seemed like even they couldn't keep things straight. They changed my address with my lender to their address, and then when I called for a status update, they would say that the lender sent me mail requiring more info. The mail had been sitting in their mailroom, and my case was further delayed! KEL attorneys also gave me bad information about what was going on in my case.
