I purchased a dishwasher and it was installed by a sub-contractor, for the larger retailer. As a result of a faulty dishwasher installation, water leaked onto the subfloor and a large amount of mold grew. I tried to resolve this with both the large retail store and the sub-contractor. I contacted Scott Newton who was eager to assist me with the claim. He was compassionate, engaged, energetic, organized & professional. This went to trial and we were awarded a judgment. I could not be happier!

Scott did a great job of handling the court case and keeping me in the loop. He was very flexible and would always return my emails. The only thing I found discouraging is that I was told by other law offices that I must be in court and Scott stated that I didn't have to, but never really explained in detail why I didn't need to show up. It made me nervous, but I was hoping he was correct and I wouldn't get fined for not showing up. He was correct in the end and everything went smoothly!

Mr. Kevin Fernandez was assigned to my custody case as a GAL to represent the child. He bragged about being “good with children and gaining their trust”. This man has caused emotional damage to the child she now does not trust any adult with her feelings. She is refusing to start therapy after the custody case which she has and now suffers from more anxiety. She trusted this man that he would do the right thing and stand up for her and be her voice as did her mother. He was a completely different person from whom the mother spoke on the phone with and who the child spoke with. She confined in her mother on what her and Mr.Fernandez spoke about. I highly disappointed in what this man did “claiming” it’s for the “best interest of the child” when what he did was personally attack the mother and twist the child’s word. Which the attorney for the mother and the judge herself had to address him twice that he is not the custody attorney and they have yet to hear what the child actually said.
