I was impressed with the professionalism and commitment, Shirin and Gia provided during my child support process. They were available and provided responses to my inquires in a timely manner. I would refer them to any peers of mine.

The employees at Livesay & Myers are very professional, but they seemed to neglect my case (or at least fail to update me on my case) unless I reached out to remind them. They repeatedly made obvious mistakes in my paperwork; at one point, it took a week to correct a minor mistake in the paperwork. Overall, my experience with this law firm was incredibly frustrating.

I had him for a custody case several years ago and he knew my husband's lawyer--he basically blamed me for all of the issues that happened. He was definitely too friendly with my husband's lawyer -- I was desperate to find a lawyer because I called so many lawyers and no one was available except for him. He was nice, but definitely not aggressive and experienced for complicated or high conflict cases.

Towards the end of my case, it felt as if my attorney was working against me and not with me. I am definitely not happy with the outcome of my divorce case. This was the worst legal experience ever!

This lawyer did not act correctly in my divorce case, he made me leave the office when he was talking to my husband's lawyer, I did not benefit, on the contrary I lost what was due to me, such as the division of my house, I do not recommend him , he did not defend me as he should have.

I started with one lawyer that seemed afraid of the opposing lawyer and then he left the firm and they stuck me with a kid just out of law school and she did not help at all. They seemed to just want my money for doing nothing. I spent almost $70,000 and almost lost my kids due to their advice, and I'm a good mom.

Worst decision I ever made. If you want a divorce lawyer that doesn't know the law, doesn't have time for your case, doesn't understand the impacts of divorce on veteran's benefits (despite "specializing" in military divorce), that cannot make a coherent argument, that won't even answer your emails when the court loses your divorce decree for a month...Then you should hire Jamel Rowe at Livesay & Myers. She is, in short, completely incompetent and her response to being overwhelmed by her job is to ignore her client. She gave me terrible advice from the beginning, mishandled the actual trial, was hoodwinked by opposing counsel either for lack of attention or incompetence or both. I finally had to engage her superiors to get a basic response when the court lost my divorce and no one knew what the judge's final decision was. Hiring Livesay & Myers was probably the most catastrophically bad decision I have ever made; one I will literally pay for for the rest of my life.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had dealing with a divorce case. I waited to see if they would actually follow through with their promises before writing a review and I am glad I waited. They are willing to be helpful as long as they are collecting money from you and as soon as the case file is closed, they treat you horribly. I have spent over $10,000.00 with Katie Anderson to finalize a divorce case and our case was put aside for over 8 months!! Despite constant requests for updates on the matter, Katie Anderson was never fulfilling her duty as our representing attorney. For a client to spend over $10,000.00 and be treated like this is horrible and I will be sure to let everybody know about their practices. I guess that's how she makes a living AND ITS REALLY SAD. I was being very patient and understanding throughout the entire case even though they took way longer than it should have, It has been 8 months and not a single action has been taken to assist us with our case!

Only area he is expert in is billing you for every second. Did a horrible job for the money spent. I regret hiring him.
