The Thompson Law Office is a Lexington boutique, family run firm with experience in family, criminal, and personal injury law. The office started as a solo practice run by Eddy Thompson in 2007. In 2011, Eddy joined forces with his fellow attorney, and sister, Dori Thompson. Together they cover numerous areas of legal practice in Fayette County and surrounding areas including Madison, Jessamine, Woodford, Scott, Franklin and Clark. The firm also handles other geographical locations upon request.

Eddie and Amanda represented me very well and responded to all my requests in a timely and professional manner. I have no knowledge of the terms used in law but they were very knowledgeable and explained to me all the details and the process in a way I can understand. I was also working with a really tight deadline and they worked very fast to get me the outcome I wanted. Would highly recommend!

After we interviewed with Dori I knew right away she was someone I wanted on my side. You can tell Dori was very compassionate about her work. Our case wasn't easy. Dori was always available for questions even while on vacation. She made us feel more apart of her instead of just a number to her practice. Dori was always upfront and honest with us. She knows the law she isn't rude and doesn't attack with cruelty like some others I have come up against. Dori will fight for you until the end. I would recommend this firm for any Family Law issues you may have. After all said and done I would like to think we became friends not clients.
