I'm a 22 year old US citizen, how do I fix my mother's and older brother's papers?

Answered by attorney Bruce A. Coane (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Coane & Associates, PLLC
Generally, in that situation, helping your mother (assuming she's otherwise eligible) is usually very straight-forward, although their are a number of complicated forms. Your brother's case is not as easy and would take, typically, 10-20 years under current law.

Proof that my fiancee can get remarried

Answered by attorney Alan Lee
Immigration lawyer at Alan Lee Arthur Lee, Attorneys at Law
You and your fiancée should submit sworn statements concerning the efforts that you have made in attempting to obtain the required evidence of her husband’s death. Those should include all efforts made with the Syrian government. U.S.C.I.S. is generally unwilling to accept secondary evidence without proof that efforts have been made to obtain primary evidence, in this case a death certificate from the local government where he perished. Can I bring my husband on an F2 visa to US while he still has a valid H1b visa?

Answered by attorney Alena Shautsova
Immigration lawyer at Law Offices of Alena Shautsova
Your husband has to enter in the status he intends to hold; if he comes on F2 prior to October 1, then he has to apply to change his status.
