Do not hire. As soon as I sent in retainer, complete change in level of service, basic understanding of law, and attention to detail. AI will replace these guys within 2-5 years. Look elsewhere if you value sound legal advice.
Daniel was a horrible lawyer to me. Bundled my case multiple times and was condescending and rude multiple times. He seemed more interested in making the firm a profit than getting results. Such an incredible disappointment of a lawyer!
We hired the Latham NY office of Tully Rinckey and they gave our case to Carol Crossett (Partner, Manhattan). Ms. Crossett is perhaps the most obnoxiously arrogant, rude, unethical, shrew on the face of this planet. In addition to her terrible demeanor, she was lazy in acquiring knowledge to understand our property easement case and her grasp of property law is so poor that she tried to convince us, her client, to pay for all of the costs to resolve the overburdened easement and title infringement. Further, she drained our $15k retainer by pretending that she couldn't understand the difference between a utility panel, a utility meter, and a utility pole. She feined ignorance to elicit explanation emails so she could bill us for responses to her nonsensical questions. Carol is a grifter and shyster. Luckily, another firm stepped in at no cost to us to resolve the civil dispute and infringement, and at no expense to us. Tully Rinckey doesn't support Veterans, they exploit them.
Daniel Gvertz was a horrible lawyer. He misadvised me with no explanation or reason for why, while simultaneously overcharging every step of the way. Seemed more concerned with profit over results. Avoid this firm and lawyer like the plague they are/he is!!!!!
Look elsewhere for your needs. This firm just scans you for your money, and this lawyer is just there to fuel that system. Don’t waste your time with Tully. Don’t waste your time with Jennifer. Go anywhere else - most places have integrity.
Horrible and they will steal your money! Please look around for other attorneys. I was going to hire them for a case, they told me to just wait until documentation came in. In the mean time I switched companies and need to file a new case and when I called to to see if they would represent me on the new case they tried to charge me almost double for another consultation. Then they tried to say they have a policy where they will charge the full price for consultation if you have consulted with the attorney more then a few times. Point is I paid $250 for the couple of times I consulted with them. So it’s not like I am running around trying to get free advice and wasting anyone time. I just took my business elsewhere. FYI, I don’t know anyone who has won a case with them.
Working with this firm has been horrendous. They are out to make a quick buck and will lie, cheat, and play games with you to get a quick resolution, rather than a good resolution. The attorney assigned to me lied to me about the laws relevant to my case, failed to resolve disputes and work in my best interest. It is very difficult to have a good outcome when your attorney will only work for a paycheck rather than in your best interest. I've worked with two partners and the attorney assigned, I've found all to be deceitful snakes lacking any ethical conduct. Egregiously unprofessional and untrustworthy legal representation.
Do not use this firm for USERRA. If the case is complicated or not easily settled they will back out. Poor communication with attorney. Attorney then ends up saying ge is to inexperienced to take on the case and it may cost the firm too much money. They are a joke , Veterans do not use this firm!
I had to fire Pamela Branch for negligence. In almost 2 months a demand letter hadn't been drafted for a settlement. I fired her and asked for a refund on whatever hadn't been used on my retainer. I was billed at 1.1 hours for a 40 minute phone call. 4.5 hours of "research" was done at over 300 dollars an hour yet when I asked for any type of proof that research was done, I was ignored. Imagine firing someone for not working, for them to just make up bogus charges, for bogus time, on made up dates and sticking you with the bill. Stay far away from this firm
!!!!!DO NOT HIRE PETER PULLANO!!!! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! 1. LATE TO MULTIPLE COURT DATES 2. NEVER PREPARED 3. UNORGANIZED 4. TELLS JOKES ON YOUR DIME. "COMING IN A GIRLS MOUTH, OR BEST FRIND IS BLACK JOKES" APARENTLY SEXUAL AND RACIAL JOKES ARE HIS WAY EXPLAINING HOW THE LAW WORKS! 5. TAKES MONTHS TO GET IN CONTACT 6. WILL ASK FOR MONEY THROUGH OUT THE CASE BUT NEVER WORK ON WHAT YOU WANT OR ASK FOR. ITS HIS WAY ONLY! HE WILL MAKE ALL CHOICES INVOLVING YOUR DEFENSE AND FREEDOM. 7. HIS MOTIONS WERE WEAK AND LACKING TO THE POINT THE JUDGE TOLD HIM HE WAS NOT PREPARED. ITS EMBARRASSING STANDING IN COURT WITH A LAWYER DRESSED LIKE A 20 DOLLAR PIMP THATS NEVER PREPARED AND LOSSES EVERY ARGUMENT HE CHALLENGES! 8. IF YOUR A MALE HE WILL STARE AT YOUR PRIVATE AREA WHILE SPEAKING 9. HE WILL TALK ABOUT HIS BROTHER HAVING AIDS AND ALL HE DOSE TO HELP AGIAN ON YOUR DIME. 10. HE WILL TALK ABOUT PAST CASES THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING BESIDES WASTING TIME AND YOUR MONEY!
