The one issue I have had is that all documents and information I provided upon request was lost by the firm.
It took 21 months to complete my bankruptcy case. I am not sure why. The law office could never tell my why. I only found out that my case had finally been discharged when I went to check on my home and found that it had been cleaned out and dead bolted. The foreclosure process had finally happened. When I called to ask about my bankruptcy after going to my home, the receptionist acted as though I should have known. How could I, when no one from the law office ever called to inform me.
I never saw the same attorney twice. It seemed that one didn't know what the other had said or done.
The attorney I went to see was so rude and very un-professional and didn't have a care or concern for me, the consumer.
This firm has expanded from metro-Atlanta, into the surrounding communities. Their service is very impersonal. The firm does not keep its clients informed on the process. The paralegals are often overtaxed, and slow to reply to your inquiries as a result.
The attorneys were wonderful, but customer service is horrible. They even try to give legal advice (which they are not supposed to do). After filing chapter 7 I was told to file a 13 because I received correspondence from a creditor. The attorney cleared things right up though
Did not return calls. Repeatedly recorded inaccurate information. Contacted me several times regarding another person's case. Extremely rude on the phone and in person. Difficult to contact. Mismatched information through the different departments.
They were not very effective in explaining what the conditions were with our case. They kept losing our paperwork and our initial court date kept getting pushed back because of this and other errors.
The office located in Nashville, TN failed me horribly during our bankruptcy time. Our case has now been dismissed due to my husband losing his job, but office never notified us of what we would need to do to stop it until the day of court where they told us that we had to have over $5000 in hand. They never returned phone calls, or bothered to notify us when offices closed and moved, or when our particular lawyer had quit the firm. They are doing what they can to rectify the situation now.
