Made decision on my behalf not to re-affirm the debts I had with my then employer which included my mortgage, automobile loan and personal loan. I had made it quite clear that I intended to pay those debts but they claimed it was not in my best interest. They end up going back to court to make the correction at their expense. I was not happy that they made this decision without discussing it with me first.
They were effective, but the level of service was rather routine and costly.
I always had to phone them regarding my case. Granted, I moved out of state during the process, but they knew that and had all of my contact information. There didn't seem to be anyone person that I could talk to about my particular case. I was merely a number. Personal attention was definitely lacking. I think it would have been less scary to have had (1) lawyer through out the process, as opposed to the whomever was "on duty" that day, whether in court, in the office or on the phone.
Fast and efficient; however, I did feel service was impersonal and detached.
I find that after meeting with trustee, no one at firm wanted to help. A change of address & phone given and was not recorded. When I was filing, the attorney and staff were very helpful. I find that the passing of attorneys from one phase of the process to another is confusing. I would recommend the firm to others if they have do not have other issues, I just had issues that happened after the meeting with the trustee and I feel I was a bother. I'm not comfortable with bankruptcy.
Service would be much more efficient if your firm allowed limited phone conversations with a lawyer to answer questions. Coming in to the office is frustrating to get a simple question answered.
