Ross & Matthews, P.C. is a law firm established in 1990 with an office in Fort Worth, TX. At this office location, there are 39 lawyers practicing business law, corporate law, taxation and 13 other areas of law.
In the past I felt we should have better communications on exactly what service I was asking for.
Not interested in me as a client unless a large case.
Mr. Vernon indicated he didn't have enough information to pursue resolution of my legal matter, after sitting on the matter for nearly 10 days with no response. He was out of office and did not have anyone cover his voicemail box. When he finally called back, he told me I would need to hire someone else.
I have been a legal shield member since I was a rookie officer (13 years). After waiting over 24 hrs for a call back from a Ross & Matthews attorney a woman by the name of Luwalhati Johnson (she refused to give her first name but found it on the Ross & Matthews website). From the moment she began to speak she was horrifically rude and condescending. When I said ma’am I don’t know if you are having a bad day but you don’t need to be so condescending she then told me I don’t need to speak like Kamala Harris or speak to her like she was Kamala Harris 😳. At this point I asked for her state board id number in which she refused to provide. Then this Attorney had the audacity to imply she was glad that my current legal matter was happening to me, I deserved it. She proceeded to then hang up on me. My husband were in disbelief and I was in tears. Shame on Ross & Matthews for employing such a horrific person. This couldn’t have been her first time treating someone this way!
I already specified I need someone who specialized in real estate and estate planning area in the 2 cases I opened. I even put down the key words related to my question. The persons who called me is not knowledgeable in the area at all. It does not even look like the person spend anytime research on the subject. One person did not even read the request and called late at night. He was impatient, not knowledgeable and very short. Before I finish speaking, he already has unrelated answers
Legal Shield is just getting job #'s and a phone call, can't use them for anything but writing a will and medical directive.
First: He is pompous and rude. Second, he refused to rewrite a letter for his law firm which was originally written in a confusing and illegible way unless I agreed to offer my counterparty a certain commercial term Mr. Yeats dictated... unbelievable. He hijacked or held hostage the correction and re-writing of the demand letter unless I changed my commercial terms!
