BEWARE!!! This law firm is a scam. At first they did their job, but once I realized they were overbilling and I asked them about it, I received a $300 bill for an automated response that didn't answer any of my questions. Then they said they were terminating me for non-payment after I paid them the overcharge and I asked them if they were gonna continue my case. Thend I was billed nine hundred dollars for asking. I've been charged over four thousand dollars only for them to leave my case unfinished, a simple case, no children and no spouse around to object anything. I'm out $4000 and left with an unfinished case. If you're looking for a lawyer that you can speak to and willl keep you informed about your case, then this law firm is not for you. They will charge you hundreds for any question you have even about them being incompetent and overcharging. If you've been scammed by them I encourage you to report them to the bar association and to the better business bureau

5 minutes ago New If I could leave negative starts I would. BUYER BEWARE!! This law firm only wants your money and if and when you question about your case you will only get another bill. You will get billed for them to send you an automated email if your lawyer is on vacation. I had mediation in November of 2024 and was told everything would be wrapped up within a few weeks. I am an understanding person and knew it would take a little longer with holidays. But when I still received nothing in January, February, March and finally when I refused to continue to pay for nothing being done I finally got their attention! When I questioned and sent emails trying to get someone to let me know what was going on, I would get a bill instead, no answer, no call back just another bill. It’s now May and I just received my papers signed by a judge. If your looking for a good lawyer, keep looking this is not a law firm you can trust they have your back. They only want what cash you really don’t have!

Biggest mistake was choosing them. They lie and say they are a low cost law firm but they are not. They take all your money and then some and do nothing with it and do not communicate with you at all and actually act horribly rude. They do not treat you as a human going through a hard time they treat you as a money bag.

This Law Firm is terrible and I would not recommend it for anyone. I had a good lawyer from that firm Brenda and she was sick and couldn’t come to my trial so these people decided to send another attorney Madison who had no idea what she was doing and it cost me my 3 year old son. Brenda was an amazing lawyer and I was able to spend time with my son when she went to a hearing for me but the one time she was sick they just made me lose complete custody of my son and I can’t even call or see him anymore. They took almost 27000 dollars from me just for them to lose my case. They are greedy and selfish and they do not care about their clients whatsoever.

They are extremely dishonest about their billing process they will bill you for months while doing nothing and if they make a mistake they will be dishonest about it and bill you for fixing it they said I became inconsolable but they called me and billed me for their call they lied about why they are withdrawing I'd avoid them at all costs they are rude and unprofessional

I hired a Mark Childress divorce law firm, who turned out to be a complete disappointment. Their lack of responsiveness and communication made the process frustrating and stressful. They seemed more interested in their own agenda than in understanding my needs. Their incompetence cost me thousands of dollars. Avoid this lawyer if you value professionalism and effectiveness.

They charge me 5K and haven’t got anything accomplished. You can never get a hold of my attorney service is awful would not recommend them for anything.

Mark is incredibly unresponsive. Takes him days to return an email. Once he called me to yell at me bc in an email I wrote to him I told him I needed his legal advice quickly. He wanted to lay out the "ground rules" on how I'm allowed to communicate with him. He told me if I wanted him to be more responsive, I could pay him $50,000/mth and he'd drop his other clients. He always gave me the impression that my case just wasn't important enough for him.
