Is there some way I can get my probation reduced?

Hudson Thomas Bair
Answered by attorney Hudson Thomas Bair (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Kapsack & Bair, LLP
Yes, there is a process, it requires filing a "request to modify probation." In some counties its as simple as putting yourself on the calendar in others it requires a formal motion. You should talk to your lawyer about the onerous terms and conditions of your probation and see what can be done, if you didn't hire an attorney, you should look for a local attorney to help you now.

Is it possible for me to get my license as normal person since it has been six years since the offense?

Answered by attorney Terry Alan Nelson (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Nelson & Lawless
You had your license suspended for up to a year because you were arrested for DUI. If the court also suspended your license, that suspension would run consecutive to the one from DMV. You were probably able to apply for reissuance several years ago, as long as you complied with all the terms of sentencing and probation imposed by the court. If so, contact DMV for reissuance. If you did NOT comply with all the court orders, you would have an arrest warrant.

What happens on a DUI when the custody report says I wasn’t drinking?

Answered by attorney Lawrence Thomas Lewis (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Lawrence Lewis, P.C.
The case proceeds as normal. The officer may not have seen you drinking. So, he wrote you were not drinking. The police officer is not retarded If he arrested you for DUI, you have to be impaired by either alcohol, illegal drugs or prescription medication.
