Not if the order did not include the right to record conversations with your mother in law. You had better read the terms of the TRO very carefully.

In Florida there is no requirement for a period of separation. All it takes to start the process if for one party to file a Petition for Dissolution of Marriage.

Is my husband financially responsible for financial spouse support?

Answered by attorney Mark T. Peters (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Peters Law, PLLC
You should have divorced him the first time he left. However, you only hope now is to get an attorney and divorce him. The obligation to pay child support stops, more or less, when the child turns 18. In Idaho you may be entitled to spousal support to get you into a position where you can get a job. Call the Idaho Volunteer Lawyers Program and see if you qualify for pro bono services.
