You probably never finished the first divorce - you could have done it by defaulting them. That case would have been dismissed years ago as it was never finished. You need to respond and ask for child support and child custody.

Yes, she has to return the engagement ring IF she did not marry him. The ring is a gift in contemplation of marriage. If they are married and want to divorce then the ring is hers to keep, but splitting up before the marriage requires her to return the ring.
