The lawyer did not take the time to discuss the medical information gathered for my case with me in advance which prevented me from contributing to our ability to argue any of the opinions presented.
I am starting to question this Firm’s understanding of the CFR’s and the ratings also the value of how they understand and submit medical opinions to the VA. I also am beginning to realize their medical experts are not completely familiar with the correlation of illnesses which I discuss with other medical experts. It’s bad enough that the VA is simply a clueless corrupt entity with individuals giving C&P exams that fail to recognize any correlation of diseases but when you have to pay their experts that fail to associate the connection of diseases then a major issue develops which cause an adverse determination by the VA. Too conservative in their approach and answers that I question especially after I read the CFR and must explain how a disease is to be interpreted for rating purpose only to have them agree?
I did more than they did. They didn't keep me informed about what was going on. When I asked questions I was told what I already knew. They sent me to a Dr. that did nothing, and charged me for the visit. I was approved for unemployability instead of total disability. The difference was never explained to me prior. I hired them, if remember correctly, in 2019. My case was approved for 2014, when I first filled. They got 30% of the back pay, and charged me for the Doctor visit.
Just another predatory firm that won't help you unless they stand to make a bunch of money from your misfortune with the least amount of effort possible. I spoke with someone whose first language obviously wasn't English so they're employing mass call centers to help them screen anyone out that might actually take some work to get a claim approved. At the end of the call they just said that they weren't interested. They wouldn't answer any questions that I had, because they're not lawyers. They call it a consultation but it's not, it's a screening. Stay away from them and call your VSO. All of the information you need is online to do what you need to do.
