Can those who live with felons own guns?

Answered by attorney John F Brennan (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Musilli Brennan Associates, PLLC
There are number of possible options, one of which would be to attempt to have the felonies which her parents were convicted of expunged given the passage of time. They are not allowed to have either firearms or ammunition in their possession or available to them under federal law. Therefore, unless you really know exactly what you are doing and have received counsel, I would certainly not have a firearm where they reside, for their protection from further prosecution. If you, or they, would like to explore the concept of expungement or having their previous convictions set aside, or you would like to see counsel as to how you could have your weapon closer to you without putting them at risk, see an attorney.

Can I get personal licence if I was convicted of obtaining property by deception?

It should not prevent you from getting a drivers license unless you still have a warrant or need to pay a fine.

What can I do if I was accused of a crime that was found to be false?

Answered by attorney Aaron Michael Black
Criminal Law lawyer at Law Office of Aaron M. Black, PLLC
If you have been charged with a crime that you did not commit you need to retain a lawyer and fight the case. A prosecutor charged you with a crime the are convinced you committed. They will not just dismiss it. Fighting is your only choice.
