I’m in El Paso jail for criminal trespass since Jan 19 and supposedly my fine is $5000 how long do I have in jail?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen

Until you resolve your case. Chances are you have already served all the time. Can't a court appointed attorney just plead you to time served. Or hire an attorney to get you out. Maybe you have an immigration hold or something.

If you made a $ 50,000 bond, then you do not qualify for a public defender. So, you can retain an attorney, or represent yourself.

I have two pending misdemeanor charges currently pending. My question is how are they going to affect my future? What are possible outcomes?

DWI stays on your record in Texas. Although you blew above the legal limit you should get an attorney immediately as their are deadlines that could adversely affect you, especially involving your drivers license.  One's criminal history is important, so I would encourage you to immediately contact a criminal trial lawyer to help you.
