My husband and I have been working with Berry Law Firm since the early 2000's and have received numerous awards because of their advocacy. We never could have navigated the process without them. We were referred to them by some Vet friends when we would attend the Viet Nam Vets Reunion in NE each year and are so glad they did. My husband had many issues including PTSD. Sadly, my husband passed away in 2020 from an uncommon cancer that may have been related to Agent Orange. My claim with the VA is still ongoing for this. My current attorney is Miss Montana and she is wonderful. One of the main things I can tout about this practice is that I can pose questions or issues and I ALWAYS hear back from them within 24 hours if not before. Awesome customer service!! Don't try to navigate the VA system alone, let BERRY LAW FIRM help and it doesn't cost you a dime unless you are granted an award and then, only a small percentage. I love them!!

David Ossian is second-to-none in the VA law space. I spent years trying to get service-connection for combat-related wounds to no avail. David not only displayed superior knowledge of the VA process, he was able to communicate that knowledge effectively and win my appeal in an expedient fashion. His experience as a veteran certainly enhanced the experience in my view. I felt like I was walking through the process with someone who had first-hand knowledge of my experiences (almost like a "battle buddy") and that definitely strengthened my belief that I had the right advocate fighting for me.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
