Hired Attorney Matthew Wooten

Highly do not recommend probably should’ve had a couple bar complaints during his time. This Atterny time management is horrible. Ignorance and neglect top-tier. Caseload seems to be too much for him. You’ll have in person on phone appointment. Then Have his secretary call and go over the same thing that you already went over with him double charge you and secretary very young and a family member of his. He will promise to set court dates will not follow through as more excuses than knowledge in his field. If you have a young adult in a traffic violation as simply as running a red light, he would probably be ok. serious matter you’re just gonna get the runaround.

Very unprofessional quantity over quality minimum of 2 weeks to hear back when paralegals and secretary say will here back soon. I had two cases with wooten both were equally neglected and my 2 cases ended up being effected. No problem charging you outrageous amount for work not performed.10 months of wasted time and lies both casses neglected and 7,000 payed and they still want 7,000 more. Left me at a pl hearing to attend another said would have a court date before we left. He left me and my 80 year old grandmother with no court follow up court case date like promised. Paper work from that pl in October given to me in Feb (Five months later) We had a meeting over our court case on feb 15th that was never set Wooten decided to go on vacation and have his secretary call me to go over somthing we already had a meeting on and no court case on the feb15th like promised. 10 months of nothing but talk and no action. I have a new attorney now and it's nice to see how a firm should be ran.

Hired Law Firm

My family and I have exclusively used this law firm over the last 15 years and, after my most recent experience, the time has come to find a new firm. I came to them at the end of July 2022 with a simple request for a consent order for visitation that wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. Just needed the paperwork drawn up, sent out for signatures, and given to a judge to make it official. There was some concern the other party may not sign the order, but I was told we would essentially cross that bridge if we got to it. I was told, however, that if it wasn’t signed by a certain time that this could turn into a time-sensitive matter that required going to court since the previous arrangement was not congruent with what I was asking for in this new agreement and the next arranged visitation was in just 4 months. Even with being told it was a potentially time-sensitive matter, my entire case was essentially shoved to the far back of Mr. Wooten and his assistant, Olivia’s minds. They didn’
