Matthew Wooten was absolutely fantastic and incredibly helpful in the process. He was professional, calm, and polite. He was intentional to let me know what was going to happen and what I should do. I would highly recommend this law firm!

My husband and I were refinancing our home. The mortgage co. told us to get all our paperwork in to them by a certain date or the interest rate might go up. We did as they asked. One day I received a phone call saying the interest rate had gone up and we would pay more. I said no.You didn't get your paperwork in. I called Plumlee and Overtons office and an attorney was put on the phone and I told him the story. He said I'll take care of this and with a phone call he fixed it for free.Thanks

I have hired C. Eric Plumlee for numerous issues as he has earned my trust. Nice quaint office, he works well for me needs. I really appreciate that he keeps a Bible in the reception area. I've never seen any other lawyer do that and it meshed with my faith and values. We have a good relationship and I recommend his practice.

Excellent research, well prepared, good value for money. I can't say enough about this man. We went to court on a contested adoption and did not even have to speak. He made what was a very complicated issue worry free yet still treated us with dignity and respect. Now we have a little boy living in our home who shares our last name and is no longer in danger.

He could explain things to me in terms I understood, and I have relatively no legalese understanding. He took the time to tell me what to expect and how, under my financial constraints, I could get everything accomplished that needed to be done. People in his office were just as understanding as he. A totally comforting experience to feel my interests were being protected.

Needing a lawyer often comes during one of the most stressful times in your life, and I was no exception. After separating and navigating life with a young daughter, I was fortunate enough to receive a recommendation for Plumlee, Wooten & Overton P.C. Mr. Wooten took on my case, and that decision turned out to be one of the best I could have made. Going through a divorce is never easy, and while Mr. Wooten could have easily kept things formal and distant, he didn’t. He was compassionate and supportive throughout the process, making what could have been an isolating experience much more manageable. What stood out the most was his ability to listen. He took the time to understand my concerns and was clear in explaining the legal process, making sure I was informed every step of the way. He was very professional, but at the same time he was kind in helping me know all my choices I had on certain issues for my will and power of attorney.
