Robert A. Stavins

Thank goodness I finally found an attorney that represented me with integrity and helped me through this long nightmare of a divorce. Robert was very responsive from the beginning, answered every communication, kept my case on track, and gave me counsel that finally gave me some relief. Robert came in late in the case to wrap up the final stages, and he got more accomplished in one action than was done in 2 years of constant attacks. I wish I had started my divorce process with him.

I absolutely love the way Mr. Robert represented me in court. He was always available for me via phone, email and in person at any time. He was always there for me to answer any questions. He took care of all my cases with great results and in a little time.

I had the opportunity to work w/ Mr. Stavins recently for a guardianship case. What seemed, to me, something that would be relatively straight forward, became more involved. Mr. Stavins was excellent at communicating with me, responding to questions and concerns, and guiding me through the process. I appreciated that he was honest about how things could go. I found his rates to be very reasonable comparatively, especially for the level of service he provided. I would absolutely hire him again.

Mr. Stavins is the WHOLE package when hunting for an attorney! Not only is he genuine, he responds to EVERY call/ email, he dosent nonsense around and waste your money, very reputable in Court, and has passion for what he does. I would recommend him time and time again!!!

Robert has accumulated a great deal of experience, and was very prompt in getting back to me to answer any question I had, very easy to work with and explains in terms I could understand..

I do not recommend this attorney. He does not pay attention to details, gets frustrated when you ask questions. Did not keep me up to date on anything. This case lasted almost two years and he left many emails from me unanswered. He seemed intimated by the other parties' attorney. Did not fight for me and even told me he pissed off the judge. Cost me $6000 for nothing. I was in an inheritance dispute with a will and I lost out on hundreds of dollars, paying his fee is his priority and did not provide bill showing hours worked. He is disorganized and even complained to me about his workload. Has no secretarial support and can't keep track of emails. I had to forward and email to him he had sent to me because he couldn't find it. Hmmm look elsewhere. Don't be duped like me. My case was an estate case and I do not think he really cared.

I went with Robert because he had stellar reviews. I guess no one was being honest. This guy is a joke. Refused to communicate by email and as a result, I had no proof of what he advised me to do. His incompetence got me found in contempt of court. If you're shopping for a "bargain lawyer", take some advice from me, spend the extra money upfront to retain someone who won't cost you in the long run. Additionally, his experience with custody needs to be called into question because as a DIRECT result to his actions, I haven't seen my kids in almost a year. DO NOT HIRE!

After reading positive reviews, I visited Mr. Stavins and he spoke a big game. All the cliches, all the metaphors...big promises. He'll only fight the client, debate the worth of your argument, and all the while, tell you things are going to be ok. If you decide to not settle on the basis of principle, he'll get in your face and tell you that you owe him $2K for showing up to court, and 5K for representing you at trial. Thanks to Mr. Stavins, I'm still going through the troubles of a very difficult divorce and custody battle. If he was a good lawyer, it must have been a while ago. This Robert Stavins is more flair than fight. If you decide to be represented by Mr. Stavins, prepare for a big disappointment after the sales job he'll pull on you.
