Hired Attorney Mark Matney

Mr. Mark Matney got my CASE DISMISSED! I did have a small case, 44/30, however for those who defend their driving records for work or any other reason, Mr. Matney is worth every cent you pay him with an upfront, reasonable fixed rate. I researched great lawyers in Hampton Roads, and this guy presented amazingly on paper. However I got to see him first-hand in the courtroom. We practiced one way, but he was able to keenly detect the judge was in a different mood, and went a different direction. He is a master navigator of the courts. He even spoke with my officer twice and watched the body-cam. Who does that for this small of a case!!? He had never met me, and cared that much. Taylor, Dana and all the rest of his staff at Holcomb Law (a superb firm by the way) treated me with utmost respect…and this was even when I personally visited their office. I could go on and on, but Mark is who you want. He is a consummate expert in the field!!

Virginia is one of the few states that Criminalizes just speeding. So it can be all to easy to end up on the wrong end of a Misdemeanor Charge for just going over 85mph or over 20 mph of the posted limit. I was charged for just such an offence and unless you want to risk Jail time and or a huge fine after that then your best choice is to hire a lawyer. I contacted the law firm because of great reviews and they were local to the court in question. I couldn't be happier with the result. Mr. Matney was Great! He took time to understand the situation and particulars of my case, made recommendations of things I could do in advance of my trial and helped me get the charge reduced to what I was actually guilty of which was just speeding. I would highly recommend him for anyone facing a similar charge in the tidewater area.

He did a fantastic job and getting the story/answers from my ex on the stand and when it came to me he did such a good job that the opposing attorney fumbled at the scrambling for question to fix his case against. He was very attentive, had obviously reviewed, in detail, the information I provided the paralegals before our meeting, and was prepared to provide me with guidance, direction, and options. Throughout our meeting, he was kind, knowledgable and understanding. The entire process, from the initial call, scheduling, and meeting was easy. The front desk staff was friendly, as were others in the office. Highly recommend.
