He was to the point, aggressive and did not pander to the bull that the opposing counsel was dragging out. He helped me win all my subsequent cases. I continue to battle in court over various custody issues and he continues to champion for me again and again. I highly recommend David.
When an extra "push" was needed to move the divorce proceedings along, Eric Wiseley recommended David. He was the perfect person for the job! He and Eric work terrifically together, and David was aggressive at the right times. In the end, we did not go to trial, and everything was settled out of court.

Throughout the proceedings the majority of my questions went unanswered, calls and emails did not receive responses and adequate guidance was not provided for interviews and court proceedings.
Mr. Silek is knowledgeable. But - his downfall and why he loses cases is because he doesn't listen and assumes he knows what is being said instead of listening. He lost my case and I lost my children because he didn't listen to the judge. The judge was talking and he interrupted the judge assuming he knew what the judge wanted because he thought he was smarter and had he waited and answered what the judge wanted to know we may have had a chance. And then after he wouldn't even return my calls until it was too late to appeal. He doesn't return phone calls. He doesn't return emails. He yells at clients, he yells at his staff. He treats everyone as if they are beneath him. If a client doesn't understand something or asks a question, he acts as if it's the client's fault. I understand he is busy. I understand that some people may want mean and aggressive attorneys. But stay away from him. If you love your kids - stay away.
Most unprofessional, conceded, unhinged attorney in Virginia. These rating have to be fake. Treats other attorneys, judges, and officers of the court like trash. I’ve never witnessed an attorney display this kind of unprofessionalism in me entire life. Terrible human being, terrible lawyer, money hungry, couldnt give a care in the world if he wins or loses a case if he has your money.
Only money matters to this guy. Want to abuse an ex with the law on your side? This is your guy. Right and wrong?,makes no difference to David W Silek. If you even act like you will pay him he will take the case. My personal opinion is that he hates women. Working in a Boy's Club town like Front Royal makes it easy to gaslight and torment any female you feel has slighted you. So for that...A+ rating. As far as a decent human being...I think not.
I was in a court room as a reporter for a paper. I have never encountered such a dramatic and flamboyant attorney. He was extremely rude to witnesses and even to the judge. His client seemed embarrassed. I interviewed his client and he was upset and mr. Silek wasn’t listening to his client’s questions or concerns. I definitely personally would never recommend this attorney to anyone. It is a shame that he makes all this money and could care less of the outcome.
