Steve Passarello is a very knowledgable and caring attorney. He is high priced but he does a wonderful job and puts his all into every case. sometimes I do feel his charges could be a little more reasonable.
I went in for a consult about an HOA issue. I was told it would $240. I was told a limited amount of information, not much. He basically wanted me to retain him in order for him to tell me more. My friends are family law, criminal law and mediators, so the limited information was insulting. The receptionist was extremely rude when I walked out as he said $250 for the consult, not nice to meet you. I thought that was unprofessional to discussed money like that and how do you not know what the fee is for a consult, I was already quoted $240 on the phone. It just seems really shady to me and she gave me attitude what I questioned it even though I said it’s not a big deal. I will not return to this office, it seems too rude and money hungry for me.
Steve passarella did Nothing for the 1500 fee he was given. We could have done better representing ourself. His constant response was "it's the law" . The law is a new and gray area he was hired to help with. This law was put in affect to help the child support payer. He was asked to include the 2 "adults"we are forced to pay for in our tax write off,somehow that simple task was overlooked. That was discussed in his office but was blatantly ignored.
