Absolute worst family law attorney. He couldn't remember my name or my kids name. He also failed miserably trying to defend me in court. The other side danced circles around his forgetful memory. Avoid at all costs.

He is not good. He did not complete contract. Lied. Very dismissive to myself and our family. We tried very hard to work with him. He was unwilling to focus on the case. He was unprepared. He is all about money. I am doing this review to help save another person from going through what I did with him. He’s bad attorney.

Dude was kind of a douchebag. His customer service was terrible and he was overall a jerk over the phone. Avoid this douche!

Horrible service. Would never recommend to anyone. No one ever replied to my emails or calls. They're just here to take your money. Had to everything myself.

Don't ever go to this lawyer he's a liar you just take your money and he's not gonna be answer no more your telephone I'm gonna report him I swear I'm going to take him to the court I have proof I recorded him the first time when I go to his office I have a big surprise for him.

I wish I could give them negative stars!!! Extremely horrible and unprofessional bunch of people. We paid Vernon Ellicott a lot of money and yet no one had any clue about the case. Upon requesting a refund, there was no response for months and finally, they came back saying they will only give us back less than 50%. The funny thing is when asked why they were deducting 5-60% the and proof of any work they did...all the office manager could tell us was 1 paralegal made 1 phone call to find out what the procedure is. Avoid this scum bag at all costs.

Is there an option for negative stars? I wish. Vernon Ellicott is a complete con artist. I filed bankruptcy with Vernon Ellicott I totally agree with the other negative reviewer who said especially on yelp. I do not recommend this bankruptcy attorney he couldn't even remember my name.

Absolute Rubbish. Horrible advice and all around poor consoltation experience. Told me to show up early, and then kept me waiting for 30 minutes. Also Tried to get me to file a chapter 13 which didn't make any sense considering my situation. Had I followed his advice, I'd be in a much worse situation.

I had high hopes for this law firm and have been extremely disappointed in every aspect of their representation. We hired them to assist with a temporary emergency court hearing, which was obviously a really big case considering the circumstances. We spent over $4k for just this one 30 minute hearing and some phone calls. Not to mention all of the phone calls were a complete waste of time because all of the information we continued to provide to the attorney was never used as evidence in the trial. Not even the emergency supplemental exhibit we paid extra to include 2 days before trial happened, which was extremely critical in this trial. Our attorney didn't even bring it up, but the opposing lawyer did. Our attorney completely was not organized or prepared for our trial. He kept pausing, got lost easily and hardly presented any valid evidence. They definitely overcharge for their firm and representation. They are not interested in winning the small trials because they want you to go t

The worst experience I have ever had with an attorney names Vernon Ellicott. They overcharge for work that is not done. Mr. Ellicott represented to me that he had my X Husband's completed AFI several times, months down the road and thousands of dollars later it turns out it was missing 3 pages the entire time. They also had someone in their office go through my X Husband's bank records and credit report and represented to the court and I that they had all of my X's information, they did not. They missed a very critical and very obvious account that would have been crucial in my child support number. Fast forward to them not representing me, they were supposed to hand over all of my documents to the next attorney. Months later this still has not happened. Their office is completely disorganized. They expect you to log into the court system to get updated on your case instead of letting you know if there are updates. They are completely disinterested in anything but racking up fees.
