The Law Offices of Chang & Diamond is a law firm with an office in Temecula, CA. At this office location, there are 2 lawyers practicing bankruptcy, chapter 7 bankruptcy, chapter 13 bankruptcy and 3 other areas of law.
From speaking with another attorney, I was told that my fees paid were quite reasonable and the participation of the Law Firm of Chang & Diamond was on par with others specializing in Bankruptcy.
I had an appt to speak with Stephen Diamond but unfortunately Alison answered the door. While she is certainly a very nice person, I don't think she actually went over my paper work before we headed to the hearing. On that day, the trustee informed Alison that I would need to pay the court 10K dollars. She looked very surprised. When I spoke to her the next day she blew it off like it was nothing and I should be thankful to pay 10K verses having to pay back my debt. I was very unhappy
Terrible communicator. Very condenseding towards me, the paying client. Uses intimidation. The office staff and him condtradict each other in the information they give me which leads me to believe someone is NOT on the up and up! He holds information he does not want me to get. Blamed me for not turning in information to him because he didn't do his job correctly, but I have proof to the contrary and he doesn't want to hear it. It's a lot of "he said, she said" with him. Very uncomfortable.
He was extremely rude and unprofessional. He lied to me about his mistakes and bad advice and when I told him there was a transcript proving his lie, he changed his story without apologizing but agreed to refund most my money. Still, he was dishonest and untrustworthy. My case was simple and he made it a difficult nightmare.
Most shocking, when I mentioned where I work, he made a rude and sexually suggestive comment about underage Brazilian girls there.
He gave bad advice that made my simple case unnecessarily complicated. I had bad experiences with his staff and other lawyers in his firm. I didn't find him trustworthy or helpful. I was very disappointed with his level of communication, his response times, his legal knowledge and advice, and the cost of his services.
Both Steve Diamond and Richard Chang gave bad advice, were difficult to work with, and rude. Overpriced and untrustworthy.
