About Ozarks Family Law

Ozarks Family Law is a small firm dedicated solely to domestic practice. We specialize in Divorce, Child Custody & Adoptions throughout Springfield, Marshfield and the rest of Southwest Missouri.

My philosphy is simple - I will work hard for my clients, openly and regularly communicate with them about their cases, and treat people with the utmost dignity. My goals are simple - to make sure that you understand the legal proceedings from day one, to communicate with you often about your options, and to get you the best possible outcome for your particular legal situation. No attorney can guarantee the result of a given legal issue - but I can guarantee that you will have an attorney that cares about you and your situation every step of the way.

Justin represented me for my custody modification case. I came into his office in need of someone who would handle my case with urgency and Justin immediately got the modification process started. Not only is he very knowledgeable and professional, Justin showed a lot of compassion throughout my case, even contacting me on Christmas eve to make sure all was well due to an incident that occurred with the opposing party. Kristen was a great help as well, answering many of my questions and following up with me on any questions she could not answer. Justin was always prompt at filing motions that needed to be filed, I didn't need to ask him over and over again. Most of the time I didn't need to ask him to file an appropriate motion, he did it without hesitation. Also, he doesn't just file unnecessary motions, he knows what he is doing. I didn't need to constantly call him because I knew I could trust him enough to get everything done but when I did call he always answered my questions.

I hired Justin while in the middle of a custody case that was absolutely stressful and awful for my kids, my family and my self. The case started out as just one thing after another until Justin came in and was able to get a lot of the shenanigans that other party was doing stopped. While I didn't always like the advice that I got and multiple frustrations with my case, Justin and his staff always explained the importance of doing the way he advised. Justin and his staff will have your back.

Let me start by saying Justin is as real as they come. Kind, compassionate, honest, and thorough. Justin worked on our case through weekends and after hours times to make sure that we were 100% aware and ready for everything that was thrown at us. I can not stress enough how excellent a lawyer Justin is. Justin helped me gain more custody with my daughter, thanks to his lawfirm i finally have an established relationship with my daughter and couldnt be happier, Justin got results in little to no time at all. I hired Justin in the middle of my 3 year long paternity/custody case and he instantly gave me a sense of relief. He was very supportive and listened to my needs then took action immediately. I gained trust in him through his advice and witnessing his negotiation skills but willingness to stick up for you all the way to trial. He is prompt in returning calls/emails and worked with me on payments because he was understanding of my budget. I would recommend him any time!

Justin Evans hands down BEST lawyer! I hired him for my divorce from India through phone. He did everything I could have asked for and more for less money. He was very supportive, caring and made me feel strong throughout the process. He has been fair and honest to me all the time. He is very professional and really is a master at family law.
